A word from our founder:
“The spa portion of our family run outdoor recreation business came about when I realized just how special our location is. Originally a gentleman’s retreat with hunting and fishing made me think, ‘Why wouldn’t the women want to join their spouses?’ After much thought and investigation I decided it was the extra effort they had to put forth because of lack of nice accommodations, nothing to do, and the weather elements. I was a spa fanatic on my time off and I thought, ‘Why not in the Muskwa?’ I began my personal journey of training and designing the facilities. After three years it paid off, and we broke ground to build the family style dining room, private suites, and spa facility, and remodel the existing facility. It continues to be a work in progress as we make improvements and learn new techniques, treatments and healthy living choices. It has become an important part of my family’s life and I cherish each and every season we have together, weaving our magic into incredible vacations. It could not be done without the family team.
